Why Network Marketing??

There are two major reasons why Network Marketing has become a much more viable distribution method in recent years -- and, therefore, an excellent business opportunity.

First, the consumer market has become too difficult to reach. People have VCRs with remote control, and there are hundreds of cable channels, so many people do not watch commercials anymore. Traditional mass Marketing methods are quickly losing their effectiveness.

However, people do listen to and believe the people they know. The success of books, movies and restaurants are largely determined by this word of mouth advertising. Network Marketing companies rely on this powerful concept to efficiently market quality products to millions of their consumers.

Second, advances in information technology have helped to make network marketing efficient and dependable. Voice mail, fax machines, electronic mail, the world wide web, video tapes, satellite links, and conference calls have also made communication between large distributor forces within a company rather simple and effective.

Ironically, some of the same technologies that have allowed traditional business to cut millions of jobs also makes possible an innovative marketing concept that is offering hope and opportunity to people from all walks of life. Network Marketing uses this technology to support people, rather than replace them.

You see, there are two equalizers for all of us . . . death and time. Each of us has only 24 hours in a day . . . no matter who or what we are . . . therefore the business-minded entrepreneur knows how to leverage time!

Instead of business-building results being based on one person's efforts over a period of 24 hours, it becomes possible to have numerous people working for you during that same 24 hour period. What's exciting is these people are working for themselves as well.

Multi-Level Marketing, through a networking process, gives us the hope of building a huge business empire through a process of duplication, resulting in considerable incomes for the participants. That is the MLM part of The Great American Dream . . . A Business For Everyone.

How do I feel about Multi-Level/Network Marketing? I love it! I love the concept! I love what it can do! MLM can give a person hope! It can motivate a person to do things they thought they could never do! MLM can cause many sleepless nights because of one's own excitement. MLM creates a special bonding among other networkers! MLM allows us the hope of The Great American Dream . . . Owning your own business!

Network Marketing - Has the Recession Created a Time of Great Opportunity?

People everywhere are bracing for a recession. Times have not been this bad in years, if ever. The last time General Motors stock was this low, a car sold for $3,000. The Dow is down 25% in the last 3 weeks. People's retirement and 401K's are disappearing overnight.

Jobs are being lost in the thousands and the trickle down effect is just beginning. So what do you do in times like this? Well, if you are to believe the economists, there is a 90% chance we are in a recession or quickly heading that way. Gee, thanks, never would have guessed that one.

But, historically, there is one business that seems to always do well. And when the economy is bad, this same business does incredibly well. What is it?

Network Marketing.

This will truly be the biggest test of all for this industry. At a time when entire industries and the financial markets are facing a giant tidal wave of destruction, there is opportunity for creating wealth. You just need to know where to look.

They say "Behind every dark cloud there is a silver lining". HIstorically, Network Marketing has created countless opportunities for creating wealth. At a time when everyone else is zigging you need to be zagging.

It has been predicted that more millionaires will be created in this industry in the next 10 years than any other industry. That statistic is staggering. Timing has never been better to start creating a recession proof income for your future.

Network Marketing can be started part-time, in conjunction with whatever you are currently doing. So if you are currently working a full time job, there is no need to give that up to start your Network Marketing career. Network Marketing can be done any time, any place, with any amount of hours you choose to work.

The start up costs are relatively low, you choose the people you get to work with (how incredible is that one?) and the tax benefits for running a business out of your home are plentiful.

But, the single most important factor of all with Network Marketing is this - There is NO limit on the income you can make. Your success depends not only on your desire to succeed but on helping other people reach success.

No limit - people today are looking for alternative ways to secure their future and their retirement. They are looking for alternative sources of income. They want income is that is recession proof. Income that will be there whether they are working or not, whether the economy is up or down. People are tired of the financial roller coaster and they want to take control of their financial futures. Network Marketing offers all of that and more. It truly is a recession proof business and people are starting to flock to it in droves.

Network Marketing has evolved from simply a business to a profession. A well respected profession and an accepted business model. People from all walks of life are involved in Network Marketing. From doctors and lawyers to high school graduates; this industry is no longer just for the "last chance" dropouts. It is a lucrative alternative to the corporate world and today, more than ever, with corporations cutting back and layoffs mounting, this alternative has never been a better one.

Network Marketing is a growing profession attracting some of the best and brightest minds around the world and it is about to EXPLODE.

So how do you become part of this explosion?

* First of all, you need to be sure that you do your research. There are thousands of Network Marketing Companies out there and the choices can be overwhelming. Are there scams and pyramid schemes? Yes, of course. There always are scams and there will always be ruthless predators out there waiting to attack their prey.
*

Do your homework. Look for companies that are a part of the DSA (Direct Selling Association) - similar to a "Better Business Bureau" seal of approval. If the Network Marketing Company you are researching is in direct sales, this is just a stamp of approval and trustworthiness.

* Do you trust the person that wants to sponsor you in the business? This is crucial. If you do not trust your sponsor, or your "upline" as they are known in the industry; then don't join. Move on to the next opportunity.

* Would you buy the product or service at the retail price if you were not involved in this opportunity? This is a crucial questin to ask before signing on the dotted line.

The key here is to do your homework, take your time, be cautious and careful and choose wisely. But once you have chosen the right Network Marketing opportunity for you, know that you have joined an industry that is on the brink of a new revolution in business today.

The phrase, Recession Proof Opportunities, has been freely tossed around today but not always with credence to back up that claim. This industry is truly recession proof and it has proven it time and time again. When the economy has been bad, this industry has risen above and continued to create wealth.

Today, more than ever, there are so many opportunities out there to be successful in Network Marketing. There are old school methods and new school methods.

Old School methods work and some prefer them and have had great success with them. Building a warm market of prospects by using belly-to-belly networking. Talking to people, networking one-on-one and getting the word out about your business by using traditional methods of networking.

New School Network Marketing offers the opportunities to utilize the internet using social networking, web 2.0 social media, blogs, etc. to attract people to your business and/or products. It is on the cutting-edge of the industry right now and is beginning to be the choice of marketing for many.

With attraction marketing you are able to attract prospects to you utilzing similar techniques of networking with the key difference being the AMOUNT of exposure you get. By utilzing the many opportunities on the internet and the ability to monetize or make money while you are networking enables you to invest in your business at the same time you are building multiple streams of income; in other words; diversifying your portfolio.

Both methods work but attraction marketing is beginning to take the industry by storm and many are choosing this model over the traditional methods.

Whatever methods you choose and whatever Network Marketing Company you join, know that you are starting to build a lifetime of financial security for you and your family.

Do not continue to be an innocent victim of other's unscrupulous mismanagement and poor judgement. Why let other people control your financial future? Take control of your life, take control of your financial future and build a recession proof income for you and your family.

Build a lifetime of security so you will never be a victim again.

Why is "network marketing" considered the preferred approach to building a business? Because it's the smart way to build a business. It's what we call "working smarter rather than working harder".

Why Not Network Marketing?

Are you broke? Poor? Unhappy? Or even miserable with your current lifestyle and financial status and yet you will always say NO to network marketing. In life, many are looking for opportunity and yet no one actually really consider the power of network marketing. Also known as relational marketing.

Big names like Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki even recommend everyone to look into this new emerging business opportunity and if possible get involved in this industry. Relational marketing indeed is an industry that is rising rapidly.

This business requires little capital investment compared to a traditional business. With only a couple hundreds of dollars, it enables anyone to have an opportunity to build a multimillion dollar business, mostly even an international multimillion dollar business.

It is also amazing that when you select the right company, it not only gives you an opportunity to build a life long residual income, it educates you on the process while building this business. The training and education you get from building this business can be worth millions and millions of dollars that you will never get it from attending schools. Some of the greatest mentors, speakers and motivators in the world are developed through this fantastic industry.

Today, ask yourself these two questions "Are you are looking for an opportunity?" or "Are you looking for an improvement in your financial status?" Any of a yes in these two questions really qualify you to look into network marketing. Never pre judge what network marketing can impact in your life.

Imagine if you can tab on an opportunity faster than Microsoft and Google.. won't that be amazing? Don't miss this or you have to wait another 20 years...

Network Marketing - Why Companies Will Pay You Commissions

Network marketing has been gaining popularity and lots of people are joining some kind of network marketing every day. Internet has made a significant change in people's life. They have started earning via internet and made it a part time and full time job. In network marketing, individual has to make a team of people who works for him and build network of people in turn. There are very bright chances of getting profits by commissions. Now, everyone is surprised to know why companies pay to them. There are below mentioned reasons.

More people More customer

This is the best and effective way to get in touch with people via an individual. A single person can bring a lot of leads for a company and hence more leads get converted into sales. The company may not be able to get these sales otherwise. This is one of the major reasons why companies offer commissions on each sale you make for them or anyone your refer buys the products and services offered by him.

Cost of marketing

The costs and expenses associated with marketing the products and services offered by company are reduced significantly. They do not have to spend a lot of money in marketing these products directly. However, they give rewards to people who can sell products on their behalf. The people working for them are able to promote their products and services.

Less stress and efforts

The company is able to reach out to its potential customers in shorter span of time and it can be done by people who dedicatedly work for selling these products. The company is less stressed about increasing the number of leads and sales. It can get maximum benefits by promoting business with the help of people.

Above mentioned are the reasons behind why companies offer lucrative commissions for promoting their products.

Three Important Things to Say to a Prospect About Pyramid Schemes

No matter what level you have reached in your network marketing career, you will be continually subjected to one comment from many of the prospects you encounter. You can be one day into your business or a 25-year veteran of network marketing; you will never be able to avoid this one verbal comeback from a lead:

"Is it one of those pyramids?"

I know I have heard this comment from dozens if not hundreds of people. They may say it in different ways and some may even be too afraid to actually say the words to you. Instead, those people use their hands to make the shape of the pyramid and say, "Is it one of those things?". As if in saying the word aloud they will be swept away by the network marketing police.

I believe that most people have no idea what the term pyramid means when using it in context with multi level marketing. They must have heard that term used in the past in some form of negative connotation and simply regurgitate it without really knowing

what it means.

So, now that we know that prospects will ask you this question, what is it that we say to them in response. I believe that there are 3 very important answers when addressing this issue.

1. The very first thing you should do is pose a question right back to them. That question is, "what do you mean by pyramid?"

You have to understand that you will not be able to provide an accurate response unless you truly know what the prospect is talking about.

Let them explain it to you. In most cases, the prospect will have no idea what they mean. It would not be nice to insult the person by telling them that they should not make comments unless they know what they are taking about. Instead, presume that you know it was said in a negative fashion and then proceed to explain the points noted in answers 2 and 3.

If they do have a specific answer then address that specifically. One common explanation made by prospects in reference to pyramids and network marketing is the following: "It's when the person at the top makes all the money and the people at the bottom get screwed."

If they say anything close to the above, that is a perfect opportunity to delve into the North American corporate structure. The first thing I say to that is, "You mean like your job." Most people don't realize that corporate America if the proverbial pyramid. You normally have the president or CEO at the top, then the vice presidents followed by middle management, then supervisors and finally the regular workers or support staff. Use your own company or the prospects company as an example.

Once you explain that in the regular world, the person at the top will always make the most money at the expense of the other workers, then I believe that the prospects guard will be let down and at that point you can then move onto the next two answers.

2. Explain the difference between network marketing and an illegal pyramid scheme.

Generally put, network marketing companies use independent representative to market products or services. Whereas, most businesses use the common methods to sell their goods such as having stores and employees, and advertising through media ads, flyer's and telemarketers.

The most important part of the above paragraph is that products or goods are being exchanged. That is the difference between illegal pyramids and legitimate network marketing companies. Pyramid schemes involve no services or products. People simply pay a fee to join a company and then must recruit others to do the same thing. At no point do these people ever provide a value to consumers such as independent representatives do.

Now there are different ways that you can explain the difference between multi-level marketing companies and pyramid schemes, but the main thing is that you emphasize the point of products and services being exchanged.

3. Explain that network marketing companies are governed by the Direct Sellers Association and other government entities.

Most legitimate network marketing businesses have to go through strict rules and regulations before they are listed under the countries Direct Sellers Association. In the USA it's the Direct Selling Association while in Canada it's the Direct Sellers Association of Canada.

Also mention the organizations that govern and regulate companies that operate in their respective countries such as the Better Business Bureau and for example in Canada Industry Canada. Make sure you provide the necessary websites for the prospect to do their due diligence.

The more information that you can provide to the prospect to prove the legitimacy of the network marketing company you represent, the more comfortable you will make that person feel.

Once you have supplied these three answers then the prospect should be more receptive to hearing about your opportunity. if they are not, then move onto the next person.

Network Marketing (MLM) Is a Legitimate Business Opportunity But Is It for You?

The Internet abounds with articles in praise of, or decrying as a scam, multi-level marketing (MLM), often known as network marketing. Why does this form of marketing elicit such extreme views?

The reality

MLM companies provide an opportunity for big profits for a relatively small initial investment and no specific skills. This is both a plus and a minus. There is no doubt that it is possible to be successful, and that there are many network marketing millionaires. However, the low cost and promised big incomes attract mainly those who have no previous business experience and very little cash behind them. While these do not preclude success, they are not an ideal starting springboard. Many of these people would not be successful starting out in any business.

The reality for most who do achieve success is that MLM takes time, seeding money, a professional attitude, commitment, and all of the characteristics that might be expected with any other business. It is not, (unless you are extremely lucky), a quick and easy way to make tons of money.

The rewards

MLM companies reward those who achieve above the average. The implication on signing up is that you will be able to earn your investment back quickly. However, the big bonuses and rewards will be yours only if you are able to do better than most. In the early period (which might be weeks, months or years), expect that your expenses are likely to exceed your income.

It may be simple, it's not easy

It sounds so easy to sell a product that you wanted to buy and sign up a few friends to do the same as you. However, you are likely to find that most friends are wary of MLM opportunities. Finding and retaining your own customers can be hard work. If it really was that easy, everyone would already be doing/buying it.

Don't let your enthusiasm destroy your market

The most common mistake of new network marketers is to try to sell the product and/or opportunity at every opportunity, and to use relationships to apply pressure to family and friends for support. The MLM companies tend to encourage this. It is this approach that leads to many of the accusations of 'scam'.

It's often said that 'ignorance on fire' is worth more than 'knowledge on ice'. Enthusiasm can be a more effective tool than knowledge. Enthusiasm is greatest and knowledge least at the beginning. Try to rein enthusiasm in to a professional level and don't use social occasions to sell. At most, ask if it would be okay to phone to make a time to meet to discuss your new business opportunity.

Success takes time and effort

The success rate of MLMers is quoted at around 5%. This figure does not include those who achieve their primary goal of supplementing income for a few years but don't build a successful downline team. However, a large proportion of those entering network marketing don't achieve the initial success that they expected, and give up without ever making a serious effort.

Choosing your company

Choose an MLM company that suits you. Some broad categories are:

  • Party plan companies, selling products such as jewellery, lingerie, household and cleaning products. You are reliant on constantly finding new hosts unless you can build a regular clientele;
  • Products sold one-on-one and by referrals; examples include health and nutritional products;
  • Services, such as telecommunications and energy, also one-on-one, with implied ongoing commitment;
  • Internet companies, selling a wide variety of products from a web site, travel is one example,.

Summary

Network marketing/MLM does offer a legitimate business opportunity. As with any business, it can take years to achieve a significant, ongoing income and success is never guaranteed. However, with a similar commitment, the probability of significant financial rewards in network marketing is at least as good as with most small businesses. In addition, start-up costs are less, and the time commitment is more flexible.

5 Reasons I Am Proud to Be a Network Marketer

Some of my friends and family do not understand why I am so proud of being a network marketing professional. They see all the hours that I put in on the phone and online developing my business. My Parents are always asking what I am doing now and my DAD thinks my positive attitude goes against what he thinks of life.

So why do I continue to push forward with growing my business? What drives me to spend so much time on the phone or on webinars? I can sum up my pride in network marketing into 5 areas.

1) I truly love helping people. Everyday I spend time training and coaching my team members. When you are willing to help other people without any benefit to your direct business, it gives you a sense of accomplishment. People are so happy when you stop and help them with one of their struggles or frustrations. There is no better feeling to know that you have made a difference to someone else.

2) I love to see the benefits of the products first hand. When you work for a company that provides quality products that really benefit the end user, it is a great reason to go to work each day. Most network marketing company that have been in business for more than 2 years have great products. If they did not have great products they would not be in business. When you see someone who is in need of assistance, and to be able to provide a recommended solution that really improves their life, it is a great feeling. This has happened to me on many of occasions and it is wonderful.

3) The legacy that I am leaving my family is something that I never thought was possible. Yes, I am spending a lot of time working my business to grow it quickly and solidly, but I can now see the benefits of the hard work. I can see the long term residual income that is possible within this industry for each and everyone person who picks the right company and works to grow their business over time. It can take 2 to 3 years to really see the benefits that network marketing can provide your family and future generations but when you see it...wow.

4) The friendships that I have developed. Network marketing is a relationship business and it is not a sales business. The company that I work with promotes cross leg discussions along with the upline and downline activities that you see in other network marketing businesses. This allows you to build long lasting friendships with people all over the world and it strengthens the bonds within the organization.

5) Personal development. There is no question that to become successful in network marketing you must become a leader and to become a leader you need to be continuously learning. I am an average guy, with an average up bringing, but through the process of developing my business I have learned to be a better person; to my downline, customers, and prospects. I lead by example with my work ethic and I am always reading about new marketing methods and leadership ideas. This has to be on the best aspects of network marketing; becoming a better person; forever improved.

These are the 5 reasons why I am proud to be involved in network marketing. I am an honest person who is having fun building the biggest, most success and the highest retention business in network marketing, easily and consistently through coaching and support.

Network Marketing Information - Why Was Network Marketing Created? & 4 Myths About Network Marketing - REVEALED!

Network Marketing Information - Why Was Network Marketing Created?

This Network Marketing Information is about:

  • Why Was Network Marketing Created?
  • What is it's purpose?

Just because you don't understand why..... doesn't mean its wrong. Now let's dive into that first question.

Why Was Network Marketing Created?

It was created for the soul purpose of being able to distribute products or services directly to the consumer, which in turn made the products or services much more affordable and its availability to the consumer easier to accomplish.

Now let's address the second question!

What Is Its Purpose?

It has two purposes!

1. By avoiding or skipping past all the middle men the companies of the products or services are able to sell their products or services at reduced costs or otherwise known as wholesale prices.

When you produce a product or service then you place it out on the market. When you do this the conventional way it needs to go through a number of middlemen, and each middleman gets a cut. So when this is done it inevitably raises the price of the product or service.

2. Marketing - The reason it is called Network Marketing is because you network with other people about the products, then you market them. The problem with Network Marketing is people know how to network but they don't know how to market. That is why there is such a high failure rate with theses businesses.

People need to learn how to market and advertise their business but most of all treat it like a business not some hobby or something they do in their spare time when they feel like doing it.

This is a profession like any other profession and you need to dedicate 2-5 yrs to learn the business. This doesn't mean you don't make any money while learning. That's the cool thing about this business,

"You earn as you learn."

4 Myths About Network Marketing - REVEALED!

When it comes to network marketing there is a lot out there that is true and even more out there that is 100% false. For someone who is new to network marketing it can be hard to tell what's real and what is simply a myth. Here are 4 myths about network marketing reveled by someone who has seen it all.

Myth 1 - Working from home is easier than having a job

This is PARTLY true. Yes, working from home has a TON of advantages. However, it's still a business and it still takes work. So just because you are your own boss doesn't mean you'll only have to work 30 minutes a day and you'll be a millionaire. Many people who have just started a new business work more hours per week than they did at their old job. It's hard in the beginning but once it gets going there is nothing better than working from home.

Myth 2 - Success is all about mindset

Yes, it's important to have a good mindset and think positively, this is true for any type of business. However, just thinking positive isn't enough you also have to put action behind what you're thinking. If you are willing to put in the work and you have a positive frame of mind you will be unstoppable in network marketing. But if you aren't willing to take action you're not going to make any money no matter how motivated you are.

Myth 3 - Anyone can be successful working from home

I hear people say this all the time and it's just not true. "Our business is so easy ANYONE can get rich with it!" This is just not true. If you are lazy or you lack motivation you are not going to succeed with this type of business. If you can't follow direction and thing you're smarter than the people who have been successful before you then you're not going to make it in this business. And if you need a boss hovering over you in order for you to get your work done you will NOT be successful in this type of business. Other than that... yeah pretty much anyone can do it.

Myth 4 - Network marketing isn't a legitimate form of business (it's a scam)

I don't know exactly how the idea that network marketing is a scam got so big. My guess is that people got bitter and angry when they didn't have success and so they decided to trash the entire industry and then more people did the same thing and so on and so on. The truth is that network marketing is totally legal, it's ethical and it is a legitimate business type that works incredibly well when done right. Is it for everyone? No. Does that make it a scam? No.

Thank you for reading! I enjoy working from my computer and would love to share more information with you please take a moment to review my website!

Simplest Explanation to Network Marketing

The simplest explanation of network marketing is that it is a method of marketing that utilizes independent representatives to reach potential customers that a company otherwise would not reach with traditional online or offline marketing methods.

In order to accomplish this, network marketing companies and their associates recruit individuals i.e. “their sales force,” just like other companies and franchises, have done for years, take for example the insurance industry.

How often have you seen ads on television that use the term, “Independent Representatives or Associate?”

Yet, as we watch these advertisements we naturally assume they are employees of the company, when in reality they are independent business owners!

No doubt you have noticed as you have driven through your neighborhood many of these small businesses, they have signs and other advertisements designed to draw your attention to them.

Yet, you will rarely see advertising from the approximately 13 million people who are either involved with direct selling, or in the network marketing industry according to figures by the Direct Selling Association (DSA).

There is distinct difference between us and them, in most cases they are assigned an exclusive territory and therefore cannot market outside of their assigned territory. Where as in network marketing in most cases, you can market just about anywhere your company is established!

Why are companies willing to pay you to market for them...

...Why don't they just utilize the internet or other traditional marketing methods?

It’s quite simple, they want access to your network, that is your network of friends and family members! Today there are hundreds of companies offering products and services. Many of these products and services you recognize by their brand name!

The products and services you can market today cover everything from Communication Services, Internet Access, Nutritional Products, Weight Loss Programs, Water Filtration Systems, Financial Programs, Electrical Power, Solar Power, just to name a few.

So why do they need us? Traditional marketing methods have companies spending millions of dollars each year to market their products and services.

They know that word-of-mouth marketing is a far more powerful and effective method of marketing, especially, when that message comes from those whom we know and trust!

And these companies are more than willing to pay you, to communicate this message to your network of friends and family.

It is extremely important to understand that this method of marketing is not about bugging your friends and family members, as many would love for you to believe.

It is about your ability and skill to determine from those individuals within your circle of influence who would be interested in the products or services that your company has to offer...

... That information alone is one of the critical elements that separates those who fail, from those who go on to become very successful!

And occasionally you might uncover a few individuals, who also want to start a business!

I truly believe Robert Kiyosaki summed it up nicely; it really is the business school for people who like helping people!

If you want to call your own shots in life, if you’re willing to get the education you will need to run a small business, if you enjoy working with people, then network marketing just might be right kind of business for you.

If on the other hand, you’re only in it for the money or you just don’t like dealing with people well then...

... You’ll most likely end up failing!

Personally I’ve found running a network marketing business to be a very rewarding. While it does give you the freedom from punching someone else’s clock, now you’ll be punching your clock and will have to hold yourself accountable!

If your currently employed the training you'll get from having a network marketing business will give you a deeper appreciation of what your employer has to deal with on a daily basis. You will also become a far better communicator, someone who really listens and address the wants and needs of others!

With the economy the way it is today, working from home makes more sense than acquiring a second job in order to make ends meet. And thats if you can find one!

Is Building a Network Marketing Business Worth It?

If you are not sure whether starting and building your own network marketing business is worth it, let me ask you this. Do you know how much it costs to start a regular business or franchise and how much the expenses are every month for these people? Let alone all the paperwork that needs be filed for the state, the employee insurances and taxes, etc.

If you want to learn about the costs involved in starting a franchise, you have to consider the franchise fee which is normally around $20,000, plus legal fees, build-out costs, inventory, supplies and your working capital, or the day-by-day cash that you will need on hand to run your business. As far as starting your own business, I can tell you from watching one of my friends closely who started his own business a couple of years ago that the start-up prices are quite high as are the monthly expenses, the paperwork is at times overwhelming, and if he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid.

However, one good thing these three ways of doing business have in common is that you get a tax-break. The government rewards those who decide to start their own small business and gives them many tax-breaks, whether they work from home, or they work from some type of locale or business building. However, many businesses that are self-started or franchised are noted to fail within a few years because the expenses are so overwhelming and they don't find it worth the effort. However, those who see the value of building a network marketing style of business succeed.

Let's look at some of the positive things Network Marketing offers us which are the reason motivated entrepreneurs succeed in this type of business. First of all, when you build your home-based business network marketing style, the start-up cost is very low compared to the other two ways aforementioned. The monthly expenses are low as well and normally are just to maintain the websites and back-office the company we partner with offers us, which have a ton of tools and training for us. A serious builder will also get business cards made up and get some DVDs and brochures that the company offers for their success, since we all may not be experts at the company or products, "but everyone can be an absolute master at using tools", as Robert Butwin states in his book Street Smart Networking. There is no paperwork to be filed with the state, the shipping and handling services are handled by the company we partner with, and normally there is no inventory that we need to keep in our home. In addition to this, we can build our business as we go about our daily lives - continuing the job we already have whether it be stay-at-home parent, secretary, doctor, nurse, personal trainer, banker, etc. No matter what your occupation is, or what degree you may have gotten in school, or what gender and race you are, you can build your own business without tremendous risk and without having to take out a big loan or cash in all your savings.

Now let's look at some of the frustrations we need to face as network marketers. The market has gotten a bad rep over the years because of all the people that simply signed up to get rich quick but were not really motivated and therefore quit before they experienced any real success. In addition, many people think that just the people on the top get rich, but those who sign up later will never make as much. Let me ask you this: when was the last time you noticed that the owners of a regular company - the company you currently work with or have worked with in the past - are those that make the most money, whereas the employees, you included, are simply getting paid a small paycheck, without any tax breaks?

Other frustrations may include telling people about the business (especially friends and family), approaching strangers about the products or business opportunity, not seeing quick results, and not knowing exactly what to do to make your business grow. Let's approach each of these frustrations individually since they are all valid. First of all, if you have your own business, no matter what type it is, you NEED to tell others about your business. If you have started your own business non-network-marketing-style, who would you tell first? Strangers or your family and friends? I'm sure the answer would be a resounding family and friends. Well, approach your NM business in the same way; you don't want your family and friends to find out LATER that you have a business, do you? No... You want their support right off hand. Let them know your store is simply online, not offline, like many other companies have (which also have retail stores in your area). Secondly, we have approaching strangers, so let me ask you this: Do you have thousands of family members and friends that you don't need to tell anyone else about your business and the products you offer? You believe the products are excellent and that is why you offer them, right? So tell others about them. If you don't tell others, if you don't advertise with whatever method you want, you will not be getting any business. You can't just expect people to come knocking at your door nor calling you if you don't tell them you offer something, can you? As far as not seeing quick results goes, let me assure you that those who start their own business traditional style do not usually get quick results either, and yet their expenses keep piling up. And as far as not knowing exactly what to do to make your business succeed, I encourage you to simply look at and follow the roadmap that people that are in a rank above you have followed and succeeded. These people, and even the company itself, have taken the time to put together a roadmap, so all we need to do is follow it; it's as simple as that. When you start your own business traditional style, there truly is no real roadmap to follow; you simply have to get out there and tell people about your business and talk to other entrepreneurs who have successful businesses of their own to see what they have done.

So, to answer the question "Is building a network marketing business worth all the frustrations", I would say it is, but you need to answer that question for yourself after reading this article in which I have written the positive things to consider, as well as addressed the frustrations that most people face. What do you think? Would you invest your time and effort in building a network marketing business yourself? Why or why not?

Network Marketing Home Based Business

Hello Friends,

Network marketing has an inverse relationship to recession. By that I mean when the economy is weak, home based network marketing ventures are especially strong. As the economy is especially weak right now the time could not be better to start a home based network marketing business.

The reason for this economic track records is that more and more people in difficult times come to realize that their income is up to them. It has been pretty much proven that relying on a job can be a scary way to place your bets. Many people in this downturn have lost jobs that the felt were secure right up until the moment they were let go. On the other hand it is pretty difficult to get laid off or fired from a business you own.

The biggest hurdle that most folks face in this process, is taking responsibility for their own paychecks. It's true that some people just can't wrap their heads around being their own boss. You see people that were dedicated to their jobs and would do pretty much anything for their companies unwilling or unable to step into the street so to speak and take on the perceived burden of self sustainability.

The lesson in all this is that we must be responsible for ourselves. No one else is going to be. Even if you have a good job, you are still responsible for yourself even if some feel that it's their company who is responsible for them... it's not true. No one and I mean no one is responsible for you except you. I hope you can absorb that because it is the first great step in personal freedom.

Once you have accepted personal responsibility, doors begin to swing wide open when you push on them. You have entered a world of enhanced possibilities where the clear winner is you. As you begin to adopt this new philosophy you will find that your mind will start to provide you with all sorts of creative possibilities.

Now you're in charge, perhaps for the first time ever and it's a grand feeling. Tasks that used to be a drudge are now easily accomplished if you truly recognize who benefits from them... you in other words.

Now I'm not saying for a moment that you have to work for yourself to be responsible for yourself but I am saying that if you do work for yourself you absolutely do have to be responsible for yourself or none of what you have planned will work. Network marketing is not difficult it just takes discipline. Discipline is all but impossible without self reliance.

It's self reliance that gets you up ready to tackle the world in the morning. It's self reliance that gets you through the dozens of boring repetitive tasks that make up success. And it's self reliance that let's you experience the wonderful afterglow of a job well done.

Do both of us a favor and reflect on what has been said in this article to discover just how self reliant you are. If you find that you came up a little short you should pat yourself on the back because unlike 95% of others, you are focusing on a subject that can do more to improve your life than just about anything else.

Good luck to you and keep on moving forward!

Why Do YOU want a Business For Yourself?

Figuring out why you want a business for yourself is one the most critical, if not the most critical piece to your network marketing puzzle. You hear it said all of the time in trainings and on conference calls, but how many of you have taken the time to figure out truly to the core, why you are in business for yourself.

Many people join a business to make more money, to leave a legacy, maybe to get off their job and work strictly for themselves. These are all great to begin with, but to achieve success long term, you must dig a little deeper.

Keep asking yourself why "x" is important to you.

  • Lets say that you want to make more money.
  • Well, why is making more money important to you?
  • I would like to pay off my debt
  • why is that important to you?
  • I would like to not have the stress of the money.
  • Why is that important to you?
  • I'm just sick and tired of everyday feeling the pressure of paycheck to paycheck.
  • Why is that important to you?
  • I saw my mother stressed out day to day because of money and it eventually took her life at a young age. I don't want that to happen to me. I want to be around for my kids, to see them grow up, to graduate, and to start a family of their own. Building my business, and providing the ability to take the stress off and have more money at the end of the month would allow me to live longer and enjoy my grand children.

You see how much more powerful that is than just saying that you want to make more money.

You have to dig deep, and tug those heart strings. This is your life that we are talking about. Its OK to dig deep and really find out what it is that you what. If it makes your cry, perfect, that isyour reason why. Hold tightly to that reason.

This reason will take you through the tough and lean times of your business. This reason will push you forward when you feel overwhelmed and you feel there is no where else to go. This reason will get you up early and make you stay up late building your business.

This reason is the rocket fuel you need to succeed.

Have you developed your why?

If you haven't then I suggest that you isolate yourself or you and your partner have a sit down and really discuss your reasons that you are in business. I promise that it will make a huge impact in your daily effort and results.

What Are the Pros and Cons of Having a Home-Based Business?

What Are the Pros and Cons of Having a Home-Based Business?

If you are considering starting a home-based business by joining a network marketing company because the prospect of working from home appeals to you, then you need to know the pros and cons of doing so. In my opinion, the following are the top pros and cons of having your own home-based business.

PRO #1 - FIRE YOUR BOSS

Think of the joy you'll feel when you are finally able to walk into your boss' office and say, "I quit!" Technically, you will still have a boss, but it will be YOU! There is not one person on earth who cannot live with that fact.

PRO #2 - SPEND MORE TIME WITH FAMILY

This pro is the crème de la crème for most people. For those who are married or have children, achieving this goal is the most important of all the pros. Being able to spend all the time with your spouse or children that you want is priceless. Imagine never missing another precious, irreplaceable moment in your little ones' lives again! Imagine being able to date your life partner everyday! This pro is a win-win for everyone involved!

PRO #3 - NO MORE PLANES, TRAINS OR AUTOMOBILES

The very thought of no longer having to commute, hop on a plane to go on a business trip and be away from family or sit next to stranger after stranger on the mass transit train is enough for most people to consider working from home a pro! The end of bumper-to-bumper traffic and that long, stressful, two-way commute is worth its weight in gold. Say goodbye to traffic jams and hello to your favorite fruit flavored jam you get to spread on your toast each morning, instead!

PRO #4 - PAJAMA PARTY

No more strict corporate dress codes to adhere to. Party in your pajamas! When you work from home in a home-based business, you can wear your pajamas to the office...and you don't even have to worry about getting reprimanded!

PRO #5 - VACATION WHEN AND WHERE YOU WANT

Forget living for the weekend. When you determine how your time is spent and not an employer, you can go and stay on vacation for as long as you want! And what's more, when you are the boss, you actually get a CEO salary, so you have the money to enjoy yourself while you are there, as well!

PRO #6 - MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY

When you work for someone else, your employer dictates your life and how much you get paid. However, when you're the boss, you decide how much you want to get paid. And when you want a raise, you just put forth a little more effort, and you can give yourself one! And, you don't have to get anyone's permission to do so.

PRO #7 - GOODBYE OFFICE POLITICS

When you work from home, your co-workers are your computer and telephone, so there is no co-worker drama to deal with. When you are the CEO, it is impossible to be passed over for a promotion. Of course, you can always buy something nice for "the boss" to get on their good side...after all, no one knows what you like, like YOU!

Now, for the cons.

CON #1 - BUILDING SOMEONE ELSE'S DREAM

If you work for an employer, you are building someone else's dream. Someone is buying your time for a lot less than what it's worth, and what's worse, you give them permission to do so each time you punch the clock.

CON #2 - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

There really is no bad side to owning your own business. The majority of the world's wealthiest people are BUSINESS OWNERS. If you want what you've never had, you must be willing to do what you've never done.

Owning your own business is the way to go.

The pros far outweigh the cons. A home-based business coupled with an incredible work ethic cannot be ignored - positive results will come.

The choice is yours.

3 Deadly Mistakes That Kill Your Business Before it Even Starts, Don't Do Them

3 Deadly Mistakes That Kill Your Business Before it Even Starts, Don't Do Them

Mistake #1 (No Vision):

Friends, Do you know that usually people start a business without a clear (and I do mean CLEAR) vision of what they want to become, what they want to achieve, what they want to acquire. What makes things worse is that most people (you included) might have heard about the word "Vision" and the importance of it but do you really know what vision is?

You must know where you want to be exactly, How your relationships should look like? What income you should be having? Your Health Status? Your social status? Your spiritual status? What car do you want to be driving? How much does it cost? (yes if you don't know how much then how will you even know whether you're making a progress or no). Pick up the phone right now and ask for its price, or even better, go get a test drive to get a feeling of how it will be like when you get it and jet-fuel your passion drive towards it. The car is just an example, but apply this to whatever you want.

You want a house? How much does it cost? How will it look like? How much space will it take? Where will it be located?. You want a fit body? How much should you weigh? You want a piece of land? How many acres? What will you use it for?. Just take this principle and apply it against anything and everything that you want.

Do not underestimate the power of a vision and visualization. You will be surprised if I told you that I got my first dream car *a Cadillac - similar to the one in Matrix and Bad Boys II* and one of the primary (PRIMARY) things that I've done was that I visualized myself, I saw myself driving that car, day in and day out, asked about its price, took a test drive, asked about its functions, systems everything. All I did was visualizing and internalizing the thought of having this car, it's true when we say "You become what you think", read that again "YOU BECOME WHAT YOU THINK" be careful, your thoughts are very powerful and they can determine your destiny.

Read the following carefully, it's one of the ancient secrets that I have discovered. The one who revealed this died more than a 1200 years ago. Anything in this life starts with a thought, a thought then evolves into an idea, an idea evolves into a determination, a determination evolves into an action, an action evolves into a habit and a habit evolves into a trait. So, imagine if your thoughts were "I can't do this"!

Your trait will be "I can't do this". That's why whenever you get a negative thought, consciously cancel it as soon as you get it before it evolves into stronger phases and disrupt your life. Enrich your mind with positive thoughts, "I can do it", "it's easy", "I enjoy the journey towards becoming a business owner", "it's fun to be a business owner". If you do this then guess what? These thoughts will keep evolving until they become traits! Can you imagine what you will be able to achieve if success is just a trait of yours?

I emphasized over this topic so much because it's important. Owning a business is not about just knowledge or knowing certain techniques or tactics. Owning a business is 90% mental and 10% execution. If you're not mentally prepared you will not be able to do it.

The day I got my Caddy was unbelievable!, forget about its glistening, shiny look, forget about the logo, forget about the turbo, forget about the speed (by the way I tested it and it moves from 0 to 140 in about 6 seconds - not bad for a luxurious car J) When you're looking for a definition of a mixture between luxury and sport then you're looking for a Cadillac.

Forget about all of that, the best thing, the best moment is when I walked into the showroom (in slow motion), the electric doors slid wide open splitting the big Cadillac logo into two parts, and the sales man welcomed me with a smile and the ... KEY in his hand ... The world around me just stopped for a while and I thought that it would take me a year to reach this key, although it's just few steps away. I extended my hand, and when I GRABBED it! I was like (YYYYYYYYEAH, FINALLY I GOTCHA!)

Listen, the feeling is worth the effort. Never ever shy out from having a big vision. Never ever stop growing your visions. In my case, having a car was something big for me, but now my vision has become very VERY big for what's coming next in my life, now that I know my ability to achieve what I want if I do what it takes. YOU too my friend, you have that power inside of you, you need to trust yourself and let this power out, don't be put down by the voices inside your head that keeps telling you "You are not capable of achieving your vision". Slam the door in the face of that voice and follow your instinct.

You must have a true sense of what being wealthy or rich is. DO NOT BE SCARED or look down at yourself. Do what it takes and keep doing it until you die. If you are so negative about life then listen to this...

"It's better 100 times to die trying to achieve your vision than the bitter taste of guilt that you'll get at your old age because you keep thinking - what if I tried and succeeded" - Marwan Talodi

Mistake #2 (No Plan):

Don't be like most people, just living your life day by day without proper planning neither for your business nor for your life. Don't let the days control your life and not make any effort in trying to control and direct the flow of your life.

If you're to go out on a trip or a picnic you'll find yourself doing all the planning, the papers are out, the maps are out, the pencils and pens are out, you'll start writing down everything that you might need. You'll perform all the car checkups that you need and you'll make a list of all the people whom you want to invite.

The irony is that you might be ready to spend days and days planning for a picnic but you are not ready to spend a couple of hours planning for your business or for your life. Never be tempted to do such a thing.

By the way the absence of a plan doesn't necessarily imply that you have to create one. During my studies and research I have discovered a way that allows you to start your own business without the need to create a plan yourself. .

Mistake #3 (Education Ends with High School or College):

I have never seen a millionaire or a billionaire in my entire life who has stopped educating him or herself. This is just crazy, if there is only one factor that is common between all these millionaires, billionaires, successful business men and women then it would be the fact that they never stop educating themselves.

As a matter of fact you will find that a lot of them never went to school or college in the first place. What differentiates those people from the crowd is that they are ready to spend time and money on educating themselves. They don't even consider it an expense they consider it an investment.

I really wonder when you find someone talking about how he wants to be running his/her own business, how he wants to achieve wealth and success, how he wants to be healthy...etc and then you ask him about education he replies with "I don't have time"! the question is, don't have time for what? For achieving your ultimate vision in this life? Yeah right, don't have time for the ultimate vision but have time to watch TV, have time to watch the news every night, have time to play cards with friends.

Another thing is "I don't have the money to educate myself". Well if you consider a $10, $30, $50 or even $100 book loads of money then guess what, forget about owning your business. Go find yourself a job better (Even a job in this time requires continuous education). The fact that you're reading this e-mail right now means that you can afford educating yourself.

You don't have to go to $10,000 apprentice program. Start small, buy these books that people who owned business before you did, track them, read their biographies, learn from them. Because guess what happens when you read a $50 book? You learn what it took 50 years for someone before you to learn! Or what took someone to research 50 successful businessmen and women and guess what. That's a good deal!

Network Marketing Vs Direct Sales

Network Marketing Vs Direct Sales

When looking at online opportunities, most companies fall into one of two categories:

1) Multi Level Marketing (MLM) or Network Marketing

2) Direct Sales / Top Tier Sales

Anyone who decides to join either MLM or Direct Sales clearly has drive, motivation, and wants to make money online. Tens of thousands of entrepreneurs have created massive wealth with both vehicles. So what is the difference between these two?

Which one makes the most sense for you and your financial needs? Here are 4 major differences between these two wealth vehicles. My intention is that this will clarify any confusion you have and empower you to choose which vehicle suits you the best.

Difference 1: Cost of Entry
MLM's typically cost anywhere from $150 to $1500 to become a distributor.
Direct Sales companies can range from $3000 to $20000 to become a distributor.

Difference 2: Up Front Cash
MLM's typically pay you much less than a direct sales company to sign someone up. MLM's often pay you anywhere from $30 - $100 to enroll a new member, where Direct Sales companies pay up between $1000 to $9500 for one sale. Therefore, direct sales organizations will give you more money on the front end to enroll someone.

Difference 3: Residual Wealth
The true power of the MLM model is in residual income. This occurs when your organization automatically purchases your companies products or services each and every month. When a member of your downline's Autoship kicks in, you get a small percentage. This small percentage multiplied by hundreds or thousands of people on an automatic basis is where massive and sustainable residual wealth begins.

Some Direct Sales organizations have residual pay plans now. Due your due diligence into that companies specific pay plan to know how the pay structure is set up.

Difference 4: Mentality/Production
If you are someone who likes being more accountable for your income, direct sales may be for you.

If setting up a huge passive income is for you, then MLM may be your best option. The downside of MLM is it often takes longer to start producing a professional income.

Some follow up questions:
1) Do you love leading a team of hundreds or thousands of distributors? Are you OK with not making a full time income at first, yet love the idea of building a stable residual income? MLM may be for you.

2) Do you like being paid on your own efforts, your own marketing and lead generation knowledge, and want to make more money faster? Direct sales may make more sense.

Both vehicles can, and do, make people massively wealthy. Weigh the pros and cons and determine which model fits your goals, needs, and aspirations

NETWORK MARKETING: IT'S AN ASSET, NOT A JOB

Definitions

An Asset is a systematically built business that generates money for you.A Job is an activity that somebody does regularly for a pay.

What Kind of Asset is a Network Marketing Business?

In Network Marketing you create a network system of people who become business owners through mentoring who in turn create other business owners working under them interdependently and so on. This globally growing system of Business Owners becomes your asset and generates potentially high income.

So how can we build this Asset?

The key to build this asset is knowing the reason why you join this business. The essential reasons are: Reason Number one is to Help Yourself and Reason Number two is to Help Others. If you join only for one of these two reasons, then the system will not work for you. A. To Help Yourself‘To Help yourself’ means that you come to the business primarily to change quadrants: from the E or the S quadrant to the B quadrant. However, this change is very difficult for most people. To understand this idea, let’s see the general descriptions of these personalities in the CashFlow Quadrants.

CASH FLOW QUADRANT

The cash flow quadrant is made by considering the different ways that all human beings generate their income.

(E) EMPLOYEES They have a Job (B) BUSINESS-OWNERS They build an Asset/System People work for them

(S) SELF-EMPLOYED They own a job (I) INVESTORS They buy an Asset/system Money works for them

LEFT QUADRANT · They directly work for Money and then buy liabilities instead of investing in Assets.· They expect instant money· They are afraid of taking risks· They trade their time for moneySalary is not calculated by the volume of job performed instead it is done in a per hour base. So to increase income, “E” and “S” must work extra hours. This means the more their income the less their spare time for their families and social life. Therefore, they have NO TIME FREEDOM & NO FINANCIAL FREEDOM.

RIGHT QUADRANT

· The rich doesn’t directly work for moneyThe business owner is concerned about his asset and directly works to build his asset. Those assets work hard to generate money and make them richer and richer, while they work less and less.

· Expect money in the future. They delay gratification.

· They take risks

· Work for their FREEDOM the right quadrants their success increases in proportion to their time. Therefore, they have TIME FREEDOM & FINANCIAL FREEDOM. That’s why this change (from E or S to B) is normally very difficult for most people because they want money more than they want to change quadrants. To bring this change, the educational system inherent in a good Network Marketing Opportunity is so important as it focuses in developing people through trainings.

To Help Others‘To Help Others’ means help others leave the ‘E’ and ‘S’ quadrants and succeed in the ‘B’ quadrant. If you focus on doing this, then you will be successful in the business. The beauty of a network marketing business is that your goal is to create assets, which are other ‘B’s working under you – and their job is to create other ‘B’s working under them. This is open for everyone. In traditional business, the focus is for the ‘B’ to have only ‘E’s and ‘S’s working for them. If you only want to teach yourself to be a ‘B’ quadrant person, then a true network marketing system won’t work for you. Unlike Networking Marketing Business, this is open for very few people only.

Robert Kiyosaki said “The type of business I was taught to build is a business with me at the top and ‘E’s and ‘S’s at the base. I really don’t have room at the top for many other ‘B’s, which is why in my businesses, I strongly recommend that all my employees look into network marketing as their own part-time business.”

Why People fail to build this Asset?

They quit too soon. Why would they quit? Most people join only to make money. If they don't make money in the first few months or years, they become discouraged and quit (and then often bad-mouth the industry!).
